Terms of Service

1. What Risker is

Risker is software that provides decision support for insurance agents evaluating carrier appetite. Risker is not an insurance producer, broker, managing general agent (MGA), or carrier. Risker does not sell, bind, quote, or underwrite insurance in any capacity.

2. No guarantee of outcome

Carrier match scores, confidence bands, and recommendations are generated from appetite data and models that may be incomplete, outdated, or wrong. A high match score is not a guarantee that a carrier will accept, quote, or bind a risk. You must independently verify appetite, eligibility, and coverage terms directly with the carrier before quoting or binding any business.

3. You remain the producer of record

You (or your agency) are, and remain, the licensed insurance producer responsible for every submission, quote, and bind made using information from Risker. Risker's output does not substitute for your professional judgment, licensing obligations, or duty of care to your clients.

4. Data ownership

Your agency owns the risk, client, and book-of-business data it enters into Risker. We do not claim ownership of your data and will not sell it. We may use de-identified, aggregated data to improve matching quality.

5. Account & eligibility

Access is invite-only. You represent that you are a licensed insurance producer (or acting under one) authorized to use Risker on behalf of your agency. Accounts are non-transferable.

6. SMS program terms

By providing a mobile number and affirmatively opting in, you agree to receive consumer-requested transactional verification and match-status messages from Risker about the insurance service you requested. Consent is not a condition of purchase. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help.

7. Disclaimer of warranties

Risker is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose or non-infringement.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Risker is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from reliance on match results, including declined or unbound business.

9. Changes

We may update these terms as the product evolves. Material changes will be communicated to active accounts.
